In the last decade especially, we have seen scientific research come to the forefront and demonstrate that the food we eat really matters. This isn’t just about weight management. What we fuel our bodies with can be the difference between poor and good health, and consuming the right nutrients, in the right way, at the right time can alleviate many underlying unwanted complaints and support identified health issues.
Nutritional coaching strives to identify the root cause of any health issues or symptoms and supports the body with the right nourishment for healing and repair. It takes into consideration the way the whole body functions as well as the very unique nature of each individual.
I take holistic approach to health, which means I look at a person’s entire lifestyle, including their diet, exercise habits, stress levels, sleep and other lifestyle factors to help establish causes of symptoms and how best to make nutritional changes which will work for them. Nutritional coaching is not just prescribing food, its about understanding how your body works, responds and critically how nutrients and lifestyle factors can work together to achieve better health and well-being.
Through my programmes you will be encouraged to eat a nutrient-dense diet made up of whole foods and there is no restricting of food groups. The body is complex but clever, and has an amazing way of healing itself when fuelled efficiently- reducing inflammation, improving digestion, providing adequate energy and supporting hormonal balance.
I also understand that changing behaviours and habits takes time. My programmes are designed to help you understand what drives you and through ongoing coaching and nutritional support, make positive change, restore balance and allow you to thrive now and in the years ahead.

Nutritional coaching is evidence-based nutritional action, alongside a holistic approach to support people in reaching their goals in a sustainable and non-restrictive way. I am passionate about empowering clients to develop a positive relationship with food and understand how to effectively fuel their bodies. It can be overwhelming to navigate the vast amount of information available regarding nutrition which is why an individualised approach is always best.
I help clients to regain their energy, lose or manage weight, control or eliminate unwanted digestive symptoms, respond to diagnosed health issues and frequently support females wishing to better balance their hormones through making the right dietary choices. My sport and fitness clients also benefit from nutritional plans and key learning to optimise performance.
